looks like we're down our best D-man for 3-4months.... severed a tendon in his ankle... lang story all over again.
Markov had surgery last night and isn't expected back until sometime in the New Year... It'll be interesting to see who the Habs call up from Hamilton... my bet is Mathieu Carle, who had a pretty good camp with the Canadiens. Other potentials include Webber and PK Subban.
The biggest hit will be taken on the PP, where Markov had a crucial impact. Not to mention that we now need a new man on our top line to pair up with Spacek.
...lets hope that our Canadiens find a way to fill this gaping gap. In my mind we have much more depth in our forwards compared to on D... but how much this affects us (in either a good or a bad way) will only been seen in the next few weeks.
